Free Domain Policy

If your hosting plan comes with a free domain through Bluehost and you cancel within the first year, please note there is a non-refundable domain fee based on the regular cost of the domain, which can be found in your control panel, plus any applicable fees, for the domain name. The fee not only covers our own costs, but it ensures that, even if you're dissatisfied with your experience at Bluehost, you won't lose your domain name. Upon payment of the domain fee, you'll be free to transfer it or simply point it elsewhere. Please note, however, that newly registered domains cannot be transferred to another registrar during the first 60 days of the registration period. If you elect to renew your domain name, you will retain ownership of the domain name until the end of its registration period.

Usage Policies

How much disk space and bandwidth will my plan include?

For plans supporting "Unmetered" disk space and/or bandwidth, we do not have defined limitations, which means you are not charged according to the amount of disk space or bandwidth you use. While these resources are not infinite, we believe our customers should have all of the resources necessary to build an online presence, and the majority of our customers will have more than enough disk space and bandwidth to meet their needs.

With that being said, all use of hosting space provided by Bluehost is subject to our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy. Disk space and bandwidth should only be utilized in the normal operation of a personal or small business website.

For example, accounts with an excessive amount of database tables (i.e. in excess of 5,000 database tables) or an excessive database size (i.e. in excess of 10GB total database usage or 5GB database usage in a single database) would be in violation of our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy. What happens if I exceed usage?

If we have concerns about your account's bandwidth or disk space utilization, you will receive an email to your account on file asking you to reduce usage.

It is very rare for a customer who is managing a personal or small business website to exceed our usage policies, however, Bluehost reserves the right to terminate a Subscriber account, with or without notice, for excessive use of resources that result in degradation of service performance or the Services.

Unlimited Websites

Features of WP Pro (Marketing Center, Jetpack, SEO Tools Start, CodeGuard Backup, Malware Detection/Removal, Jetpack Ads, PayPal, Elastic Search, and Blue Sky Support) all apply to the FIRST domain on a WP Pro account. For additional domains, the aforementioned features will require separate purchases.

• If you cancel within 30 days and your plan includes a free domain, there will be a fee to retain that domain. Bluehost will deduct a non-refundable domain fee from your refund, at the regular cost of your domain.
• Bluehost does not offer any refunds for cancellations that occur after 30 days.
